Frequently Asked Questions

New Roads Health Membership Frequently Asked Questions

We Have Answers

What are included in my membership?

Our practice provides concierge care and a personalized care plan based on your needs. Being a member,  you are eligible for all the plan perks and benefits. Membership does not cover labs or diagnostic imaging. If you have insurance coverage, it is encouraged to check with your insurance company to see if these services are covered.

How does having a membership and insurance help save me money?

Many insurances have high deductibles to be met, making the payment at the time of services extremely expensive. With membership, there is no deductible to meet, and you can access treatment programs and benefits. Our focus is to treat you, keep you well, and identify medical concerns in advance.

Do you accept insurance plans?

We are credentialed in few insurance plans, call us to verify eligibility.  We also offer a self-pay option of $199 per month/visit. We are happy to provide you with a receipt you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. However, we do not guarantee insurance reimbursement for you. You can use your insurance to pay for laboratory tests and prescription refills. Just present your insurance card to the laboratory facility and pharmacy.

How do I make an appointment?

You may schedule an appointment any time, 24/7, with our online scheduling form or you may contact us at 602.699.4536 during clinical office hours and speak with a team member

How do I cancel my membership?

We ask you to give us a 30-day notice if you wish to cancel. We understand that things happen. If you choose to rejoin, we will gladly welcome you back. We will give referrals or any resources per request.

Can I contact new roads health after hours and how?

Of course! However, we are human and can’t guarantee 100 percent availability. That said, we would appreciate a reasonable expectation for availability. Once you become a member, you can text or call your provider directly for an urgent matter. However, if it is not an urgent matter and can wait until the following business day, we would be grateful; if it is an emergency, we advise calling 911.

I have great insurance, why should I join?

Great insurance does not equate to “great” health care. Visits covered by insurance are usually rushed in 15 mins or less and need prior authorization to get treatment and medications. With NRH, you will receive the high-quality, personal, and accessible care you need with extended appointment times and access to your provider via phone, text, or email.

Should I still have insurance?

Yes. While NRH provides excellent care and prevents the need for costly medical services, we still recommend that all patients have a health plan to cover events such as hospitalizations, major surgeries, diagnostic imaging, labs, or extensive specialist treatments.

Do I really get to speak directly to my medical provider if I call?

Yes, during office hours, you may speak to an assistant; however, if you leave a message, your provider will personally respond.
